There are three main beaches on the island - at any time one of these beaches is guaranteed to be sheltered from the prevailing winds. Each Chalet is constructed of wood local stone and 'Ylang Ylang' thatched roofs. Intricate carvings worked into the deck and woodwork by Bali craftsmen mix with upturned tree trunks whose bizarre pattern of branches form a canopy over the deck.
